The Michigan Cultural Data Project (MICDP) is part of a national database and support network helping nonprofit arts and cultural organizations improve their financial management and services. Contact the friendly Help Desk Staff to start, ask about the 77 trend-analyzing reports, or to compare your group to the 12,000 others using CDP in 11 states and Washington DC...More than 180 funding programs nationally, including 10 in Michigan, either require or recommend its use to be eligible for grants. Organizations enter financial, programmatic and operational information once a year into the Michigan Cultural Data Project's secure, standardized, national online database. They can then generate instant annual and trend analysis reports, benchmark their performance against other organizations, and create instant reports which can be used as part of grant applications to participating funders.
Watch for the first report using Michigan CDP data - to be released in January 2012 - Creative State Michigan.
