Lawyers for the Creative Economy
Lawyers for the Creative Economy (LCE) is a new, statewide initiative led by ArtServe Michigan to identify and engage attorneys who are willing to provide free or low-fee intellectual property advice and related support to artists, creative practitioners, businesses and non-profit organizations. LCE provides legal professionals with an opportunity to have a meaningful stake in Michigan’s vibrant arts and creative industries while fulfilling pro bono responsibilities as an practicing legal professional.

LCE was developed by ArtServe Michigan with support from the Arts, Communications, Entertainment and Sports (ACES) section of the State Bar of Michigan, General Motors, major Michigan law firms and the National Endowment for the Arts, to name a few.
