ArtServe launched Creative Impact Michigan, a statewide e-magazine and events website, with monthly video features in May 2011. Hosted at CreativeImpactMichigan.com, the e-publication focuses on fresh and positive news, as well as events, that promote the state's growing creative sector and its impact on Michigan communities. Creative Impact Michigan is delivered bi-weekly (every 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month) and currently is reaching more than 60,000 email subscribers across the state.

Using professional writers and videographers to cultivate and polish the stories from Michigan's creative sector, Creative Impact Michigan illustrates how artistic and emerging creative talents and assets are being utilized to meet current and future challenges and embrace opportunities across the state, contributing to vibrant communities and attracting and retaining talent, businesses and residents.

By focusing on entrepreneurs and practitioners who are redefining the industry and taking an innovative approach to their craft, as well as the organizations and projects advancing the sector, this communications initiative aims to attract new audiences, advocates and supporters to grow and sustain arts and cultural opportunities and creative experiences across the state.
